Merchandising Consulting

Your Space Should Sell as Hard as You Do

Great retail isn’t just product on shelves — it’s a story your customer walks into. I work with small shop owners to evaluate how your merchandise is currently flowing, identify missed opportunities, and build a visual strategy that moves inventory and creates an experience people want to return to. Whether you’re opening a new space or refreshing a stale layout, merchandising consulting gives you a clear, actionable plan rooted in how real shoppers move and respond.

Window Displays

The First Sale Happens Before They Walk In

Your window is your most valuable — and most underused — marketing tool. A thoughtful display stops foot traffic, communicates your shop’s personality, and gives people a reason to come inside. I design window displays that are intentional, on-brand, and built to turn heads. From concept to installation, I handle the creative direction so you can focus on running your business.

Facade Enhancements

Curb Appeal That Means Business

The outside of your shop is a silent invitation — or a missed one. Facade enhancements go beyond signage to create an exterior that reflects the quality and care you put into your store. From planter arrangements and entryway styling to lighting accents and architectural detail, I help your storefront become a destination people notice, photograph, and remember.

Seasonal

Every Season Is an Opportunity to Show Up Differently

Customers notice when a shop evolves with the calendar — and they notice when it doesn’t. Seasonal updates to your displays, windows, and facade keep your space feeling fresh, relevant, and worth revisiting. I plan and execute seasonal transitions for small shops so the shift from summer to fall, or from holiday to Valentine’s, feels effortless on your end and impactful for your customers.

A Bit About Me

I was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and have always cherished the West Michigan community, especially its small, local businesses. About five years ago, I launched my own interior design and home organization business, helping people create comfortable and beautiful spaces within the greater Grand Rapids area.

As my work evolved, I became passionate about merchandising while collaborating with local shops and serving on the board of a nonprofit supporting artisans. I love bringing spaces to life, showcasing products invitingly, and creating experiences that connect with customers.

Now, Truer Collective focuses entirely on merchandising, blending my design and organization expertise. From window displays to store layouts, I’m dedicated to highlighting what makes each business unique. Supporting local businesses and fostering community connections is something I truly value in my work.
